How It Works
During the first lesson, the coach will guide the athlete through each of the volleyball skills and assess strengths, areas of growth, and goals. If the athlete is taking multiple lessons, the coaches will develop an individualized plan tailored to the athlete and their current abilities and goals. If the athlete is looking for a single private lesson to get back into the sport or get an extra workout before a tryout, that’s fine too! We welcome anyone with a good attitude and a love for volleyball!
During small group lessons, the coach will introduce new skills each week and continue to build on what was previously taught. Small group classes have a maximum of 10 athletes with either one or two coaches. These small group sizes allow athletes to get significant feedback and repetitions, while being in a team environment and being more cost-effective.
Beach teams and tournaments are offered during the summer months. There are no tryouts for teams, but there is a maximum of 10 players allowed at each practice, so an early sign-up is recommended! Tournaments are held at various locations and provide an opportunity for athletes to demonstrate what they’ve learned in a competitive setting. These tournaments are also opportunities for athletes to learn about fueling and hydrating their bodies appropriately.
